OGM Technical Institute Pty Ltd was established to provide internationally recognized workforce training to meet global industry demand for tradecraft skills. OGM aims to create and supply, “work ready” trainees who meet immediate industry requirements in India and worldwide.
Building from the significant success of Nasser S. Al Hajri Corporation (NSH) in the Middle East and under the vision and guidance of Dr Ravi Pillai, OGM was established in Perth, Australia in April 2012. Significant work was undertaken to introduce, establish and develop pathways for Australian training with requirements matched to meet the workforce shortfalls of global resource, construction and energy industries.
OGM internationally accredited trainers deliver vocational training contextualized to local industry needs at low cost enabling higher volumes of trainee graduates, whilst maintaining the international and local market standards. Our key objective is to deliver certified training combining in technical and practical aspects, and intern on-site experience to produce proven ‘work ready’ trainee graduates.
OGM has trained close to 5,000 workers through established training programs in India, and in Saudi Arabia and will commence training in Bahrain within 2018. OGM has achieved a job placement rating above 90% for all trainees successfully completing OGM programs.
Established in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in 1978 as an industrial construction service provider, NSH is an industry leader in the areas of Oil & Gas, Refineries, Petrochemicals, Fertilizers, Cement, Power, Desalination, Aluminium and Steel Industries.
NSH is the largest single employer of Indian nationals outside of India, employing a workforce of more than 80,000 people with strong retention rates.
NSH is the first Saudi Arabia based construction company to obtain the TUV NORD Certification for Occupational Health & Safety Assessment (OHSAS 18001) and is ISO 9001 accredited (Quality Management System).

OGM Technical Institute together with our training partners have since provided end-to-end solutions for companies seeking genuine skilled workers graduating almost 5,000 trainees and achieving a 90% job placement rate.
Australian training capability is acknowledged globally and recognising this, OGM has created partnerships to deliver skills training in India and Saudi Arabia that has grown market opportunities aligned to meeting work force needs.

Prior to joining the RP Group of companies in 2012 as CEO of OGM, Peter held senior positions as an Australian Diplomat for fifteen years including as Minister Commercial in the Australian High Commission in New Delhi India covering trade and investment strategy across South Asia, as Australian Consul General Dubai and Senior Trade Commissioner Middle East and North Africa, and as Minister Commercial in the Australian Embassy in Seoul Korea, as well as multiple senior trade and investment roles in Japan.
Peter is passionate about global linkages of people and through his extensive business expertise has focused this into the area of skills and people development in both developed and developing markets.
Peter sees his role as identifying and nurturing opportunities amongst different countries, cultures and languages through business to deliver win-win outcomes for workers as well as for industry.
Peter holds a Masters of International Trade & Diplomacy (High Distinction) from Monash University and is a fluent Japanese language speaker.
Prior to joining OGM Technical Institute Pty Ltd in 2012 as GM International, Aminur held a number of positions as an Australian Trade Diplomat over fifteen years including as Consul General in Chennai India covering trade and investment strategy across South India, and as the Senior Trade Commissioner Egypt and Libya based in the Australian Embassy in Cairo.
Aminur is passionate about changing the lives of people in the developing markets and joined the team at OGM to use his skills, expertise and network to roll-out the OGM model in collaboration with our partners in India, Saudi Arabia and this year in Bahrain.
In his role for OGM, he has successfully completed the International Skills Training programs conducted in India and is qualified to deliver and supervise the IST Training and Assessment programs, TVETC001 and TVETC002 under the quality management of an Australian Registered Training Organisation.
Aminur holds a Master of Business Administration from Melbourne Business School and Certificate IV in Training and Assessment from Australia and has successfully completed the Master Trainer course from NCCER (US) plus can speak a few South Asian languages quite fluently.
Mr. Angelo Vincy Christhom has transferred to OGM India, from parent company NSH in Saudi Arabia with extensive Gulf working experience over the past five years. His last role was as the E&I Project Manager at the Saudi Aramco Fadhili Gas Project in Saudi Arabia. His role as the Country Manager, is to Manage the total operation of OGM India. In addition, he will conduct audits of OGM partners in India to ensure they meet NSH standards. This role will ensure trainees are skilled to levels required for overseas placements and provide our partners in India with guidance that will enhance the quality of the training being delivered.
Mr. Christhom believes that through his role in OGM, he would be able to identify the training and development needs within the organisation, design and expand training and development programmes in these areas based on the needs of the industries, amend and revise programmes as necessary in order to adapt to changes occurring in the work environment Christhom has a Master degree in the field of Electronics and Communication Engineering and also a Master’s degree in Human resource management. Additionally has successfully completed the Trainer part of the Australian TVET course. Vincy is fluent in English, Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam.
